Dr. Arnon Koren is a general surgery and a vascular surgery specialist and serves as the vice president of the vascular surgery department in Rabin Medical Center in Israel.
Dr. Koren has been working in Rabin Medical Center, the largest public hospital in Israel, for 28 years. After specializing in general surgery, Dr. Koren went on to sub-specialize in vascular surgery. For the past 15 years, he has been a senior vascular surgeon and the vice president of the vascular surgery department in Rabin Medical Center.
After finishing his sub-specialty, Dr. Koren founded the first blood vessel disease diagnosis center in Rabin Medical Center, Israel. He has been managing it ever since. The center specializes in duplex technology and allows the physician to identify vascular pathologies without infiltrating the body.
Dr. Koren is also operating a private vascular center in the N.A.R.A medical center. The center aids in the diagnosis of rare blood disease and in the diagnosis of various pre-surgical problems that other surgeons encounter with their patients.
In the United States, Dr. Koren specialized in treating venous insufficiency by using laser technology. He pushed for the use of laser treatment, leading to the replacement of previous vein surgeries techniques. Advancing this technology is a major breakthrough in the field of surgery in Israel.
Due to the focus and specialty of Dr. Koren, he has become a well known specialist in treating leg veins with laser technology. In the past six years, Dr. Koren has performed approximately 1500 laser surgeries, leading this field in Israel.
